Our Story

Why We Climb

(Placeholder — replace this section with the full story of the climb. Include event history, mission, what attendees can expect, and details about the Guitar Hotel venue.)

The Rock the Climb 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb began with a simple mission: to honor the 343 firefighters and the many other first responders, civilians, and military personnel whose lives were forever changed by the events of September 11, 2001. Each year, climbers ascend 110 stories — the height of the Twin Towers — in remembrance of those who gave everything.

This is more than a climb. It is a promise: we will never forget.

Honor

Every climber carries the memory of a hero. We climb in the same gear, the same stairs — so we never forget what they faced.

Support

Proceeds support the families and survivors impacted by 9/11, plus our partner foundation serving first responders nationwide.

Climb

110 stories. One step at a time. Open to first responders, veterans, and community members of every fitness level.

We climb because they could not come home. We climb because their families still wait. We climb because the work of remembrance never ends.
